A rich and unique coffee from the El Tambo Region of Colombia, flavors like dark cherry and snickers bar make this an exceptional choice for espresso, but it goes just as well with any filter brew method.
This coffee is produced by an organization of Woman farmers and landowners in El Tambo called Asociacion de Mujeres Agropecuarias de Uribe. Working together, sharing resources and knowledge, these ladies are able to produce a high quality castillo cherry; They implement an unusual double fermentation storing the cherries in their loading hoppers for the first 14 hours after harvest, then after depulping they are placed in traditional open fermentation tanks for another 10 hours for a second fermentation.
This is a high elevation, carefully produced castillo bean, making it dense and sweet. It has dry fruity acidity and a pleasant medium body.
