This beautiful and balanced coffee is from the Rutsiro and Rubava Districts of Rwanda along the eastern shores of Lake Kivu. This Bourbon variety was grown at very high elevations and is therefore quite dense and results in a sweet and fruity cup. Creamy and sugary mouthfeel, brown sugar and caramel apple flavors dominate in this coffee.

The COOPAC cooperative operates the Kigeyo Washing Station where this fully washed coffee was processed. COOPAC is committed to environmental and social sustainability in the process of producing amazing coffee; Providing their farmers with shade trees and compost fertilization techniques helps with long term soil health. They also assist in construction of schools, clinics, and roads in the surrounding community.
